A landscape project designed to embrace Paremata’s panoramic views.
Tony’s family needed their landscaping to invite them to settle in, get cosy and enjoy the stunning views over the Pauatahanui estuary.
We designed practical, hardwearing surfaces with a sunken courtyard to create shelter and intimacy. New levels, spaces and connections were created using paving, decking, a pergola and boardwalks with rendered walls. Smart planting created shelter and softened the hard surfaces.
The landscaping met the brief perfectly. Adding significant value to the property by opening up the family’s outdoor vista.
“The backyard has been transformed into a modern space. The guys were terrific, communicated really well, were always positive and had some good ideas to contribute as the project progressed.”
— Tony, Paremata

Planting with New Zealand native flora
Native New Zealand plantlife is suited perfectly to Wellington’s wily weather conditions. Because of their adaptability to local environmental conditions, most New Zealand native plants are able to thrive in Wellington landscape design.

Keeping your lawn healthy
You’d think your lawn would be thriving with all this rain. While summer might sear patches into your lawn and cause your grass to brown, winter drowns everything in mud; the sort that’s easily shifted and deformed under even the slightest application of pressure.
